Help someone take their next step towards Jesus. Your journey with Jesus is made of moments of faith. Peace in a difficult season. Strength to keep going when you couldn't see the way ahead. These everyday moments are part of your testimony.

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1 NIV)

Mark Five brings together short stories of faith to encourage people facing similar struggles. Your story can help someone feel less alone, and see what it means to trust God in the valley. You don't need to have reached the other side. As more people share, their stories help others keep walking by faith, and point them towards Jesus.

Your story is still being written. Even now, it shows that God is working and he is good.

Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you. (Mark 5:19 NIV)

Help someone keep going. Share a moment of faith on Mark Five, and let your story point someone towards Jesus.

THE HEART BEHIND MARK 5

Faith has a place in the everyday.
So does your testimony.

In Mark 5:19, Jesus tells a man whose life he has changed to return to his people and share what the Lord has done for him.

A testimony can be a little vignette of that same grace: a conversation, a turning point, or a quiet choice to trust God. You don't need to tell your whole life story to encourage someone.

START WITH A MOMENT

Do you have a story about…

Small stories. Lasting encouragement.

A few of the conversations we're making space for — with more to grow together.

A SAMPLE REFLECTION · 2 MIN READ

Your story can start small.

You sit down to share your faith, and suddenly it feels like you need to explain everything. Your whole journey. Every question. A perfect ending.

Try starting with one moment instead. What was happening? Where did you notice God's kindness, or find the courage to trust him? What are you still learning?

A testimony can be as simple as remembering a conversation that helped you feel less alone. Or describing a choice to forgive when it was difficult. The value is in telling the truth about your own experience.

Write down three things: the moment, what faith meant in it, and what you would say to someone facing something similar. Speak as if that person were sitting across the table from you.

You can leave space for the unfinished parts. Share only what you feel comfortable making public, and ask permission before including another person's private experience.

In Mark 5:19, the invitation begins close to home. Think of one person who might find encouragement in a little glimpse of your walk with God. Begin there.
